Summary

The Isopure Zero Carb is a great protein blend for those who are on a low-carb diet. The taste leaves a little to be desired but the overall quality of the protein powder is solid and can earn our recommendation.

3.3

If you are looking to put on solid muscle mass without the dreadfully wicked carbs, Nature’s Best Isopure Zero Carb blend may be perfectly suited for you.

As the name implies, this whey is 100% isolate which means it is extremely high quality and dissolves pretty nicely. Whenever I hear Isopure, I always expect good quality, so let’s see if this one lives up to the standard.

They’ll get your attention by proudly touting their “zero-carb” and “gluten-free” mix, but it’s our job to dig a little bit deeper and let you know if this one is worth the $45 price tag.

Most Isopure reviews that you’ll find online may be biased but we like to give it to you straight.

When I first put my hands on the tub, the first thing I noticed was sugar content.

While most protein companies assault you with tablespoons of sugar mixed with cheap quality protein, Isopure sets a pretty noble standard by giving us a top notch product with ZERO grams of sugar.

A whole lot of the good stuff without adding the bad guys (fillers and preservatives).

On initial glance, the first thing that pops out is that this thing is absolutely stacked, coming in at 50 grams of protein per serving!

But when you take a look at the serving details it takes TWO scoops to get to that nice round 50 gram of protein and there are only 22 servings in the container.

Pretty nice marketing move by the Isopure brand but it does nothing good for my pockets.

Taste

The taste for the Isopure Zero Carb protein powder is pretty clean, not too clumpy and goes down pretty smooth. Although there is nothing over the top that will have your taste buds doing the Macarena, there is no weird aftertaste like many of the other powders have so that is a good start.

Pros

  • Absolutely No Sugar
  • Extremely pure substance that dissolves fully in water!
  • Less than 1 gram of Saturated Fat
  • Only 10 milligrams of Cholesterol
  • Stacked with Vitamins

Cons

  • Contains artificial flavors and sucralose (Opt for the unflavored brand to avoid the sucralose)
  • I was pretty disappointed that it took two full scoops to get the 50 grams of protein

Conclusion

Overall, Isopure Zero Carb is a great blend so there really isn’t too much to complain about. I love the fact that there are no carbs in this one because it gives me a good option to go to during cutting season when fats and carbs are not in style.

The 22 servings is a little offsetting, especially if you are someone who is on a budget (I remember those college days!)  And don’t want to buy a new tub every two weeks.

As the human body generally can efficiently digest a maximum 40 grams of protein at a time, the 50 grams sticker looks simply like a marketing move to get the eyeballs on it.

I highly recommend Isopure Zero Carb for anyone who is looking for a low calorie, high potency blend without the fats and carbohydrates. While I am not a big fan of protein blends that have artificial flavoring and sucralose but it is pretty difficult to find a blend these days that is all natural with high potency.

If you don’t mind a little bit of an artificial sweetener, go ahead and take this one for a spin and let us know what you think!

If you want to give the Isopure Zero Carb protein powder a shot, we give our full recommendation.
